Kamal Hassan reveals Kannadasan's caustic comments about his writing
Superstar Kamal Hassan recently gathered together with his daughter Shruti Hassan for a heart-to-heart conversation about many topics in a recent interaction titled Legacy of Love. During the conversation, Kamal opened up about his encounters with legendary Tamil lyricist Kannadasan, who has penned hundreds of songs. Kamal started speaking highly of the songwriter saying that we don’t realise the value of greats when they are around.
“Kannadasan’s house was at a visible distance from his place. To have lived in the same time as him and breathed the same air… Usually, it feels like a cliche when people say those things, but it is actually true. You wouldn’t realise it when it’s happening,” Kamal began.
